Released by ExP 1/3/21, “Remarkable Fraud” – remixes of tracks from “RemarkableUnremarkable” and “Fully Fledged Fraud” by some of ExP’s favourite producers! Limited edition release, artwork by the incredible Martin Lovegrove.
“Remarkable Fraud” is about the size of it. It’s definitely cheating to put out a remix project featuring some of your favourites from your first two albums instead of just getting on with putting out a third album. This project was something I’ve been working on for a bit, originally with Type.Raw & Loot Fattig from Loop.Holes crew in Norway, and then opening it up to Spillz (Flame Griller’s “Red Zone” producer) and my DJ partner-in-crime DJ O.P.1. It’s been great to see what these guys came up with using the original acapellas, and then adding HashFinger and Kill Money to the roster. It just so happened Chills Myth had been working on a few remixes of my tracks by complete coincidence and when I found out, I had to get his track on!
As I make all my own beats it’s been nice to hear these re-imaged by, if I’m entirely honest, better producers than me! Hopefully if you’re a fan of the originals you’ll enjoy how these sound, and if this is your first listen to my stuff then I hope these remixes haven’t ruined the originals for you, should you decide to give them a go.
